Howdy!
Claire Norris is an LA-based queer comedy writer. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, she hails from the world of animation production. Her writing is inspired by her relationship with her siblings, her struggles with mental health, and her experience as a labor organizer. Claire loves urban fantasy, musicals, and spooky stories about fighting the man.
After studying film and TV at the University of Texas, Claire has worked at studios such as Sony Pictures Imageworks, Disney, Nickelodeon, and Kuku Studios. She was a fellow in the 2024 Fred Rogers Writers’ Neighborhood and wrote an episode of Alma’s Way for PBS Kids. She is currently writing for Moonbug Entertainment, and contributes to a quarterly zine anthology for Stinkbug Productions.
